The CorFit Sacroiliac Belt was designed specifically to relieve instability and painful stress of the pelvis and sacroiliac joints. Designed smaller so they sit over the sacral (tailbone) and ilium (hipbone) areas. Increases compression of the pelvic region helping to immobolize the area thereby reducing inflammation. This belt provides support and stabilizes the sacrum by comfortably squeezing together these major weight-bearing joints during healing. It also stabilizes the trochanters and helps relieve sciatica pain and scoliosis caused by pelvic instability. Best used after an injury, with hyper mobility of the sacroiliac joints or after a pregnancy. Requires a snug fit positioned low around the hips and low back. Some will include a removable sacral pad that presses against the sacum (tailbone) to increase pressure as needed.
